Bring in Lancashire - War of the Roses, the re- run and there's the sixth.
And judging by the current England squad, losing Lancashire players would have the bigger impact than losing the sole Yorkie (Danny Care, by the way - fellow schoolboy player at Sheffield Wednesday with Jamie Vardy). That said England would struggle without the players from that well-known county of Pacific Islandshire.

Nope only to I start observing pmsl :wow: god love any tight wearing soft northern lads then!
I'm sure there's some profound, deep and meaningful statement in there somewhere.
I was comparing you to James McCabe but I'm mistaken in my assessment. You're on a different level to him.

James McCabe the famous watchmaker or were you venturing into dangerous political territory by mixing him up with James McClean?

I was going from memory on the quote and the person is Joseph McCabe. I believe I was paraphrasing his self requested epitaph.
I've no interest in a discussion on James McClean nor to get involved in a discussion on something I know very little about.

So dodging the politics but venturing into religion. You like to live dangerously.

Do you know a lot about James/Joseph McCabe?

I attempted to read his book once! Didn't finish it or get very far into it. Realised it wasn't what i was looking for. It was his epitaph (He was a rebel to his last day) that caught my eye at the time.
McCabe was supposed to be freethinker. IIRC he was a priest or studied to be but left and was effectively an atheist. Could that be viewed as venturing into religion? He was a great debater by all accounts and English with Irish descendants.
Just some useless stuff I've remembered over the years.

Being part Irish myself, well actually more than a bit, more than my english bit really, I thought i'd just say one thing in my native tongue...

im ach anseo le haghaidh an craic.... Boss Man Brianni will translate it for sure.... for sure!!
Sláinte ;)

Sounds so similar to myself it's scary - does altar boy count as training to be a priest? And when you say rebel it takes a whole new meaning on over here ;);)

I followed the same path from altar boy to atheist!

Venturing into politics, I see Martin has gone. Not exactly NI's Mandela but travelled a similar journey from "terrorist" to "statesman".

Anyway back to confusing the locals...
conas a d'fhéadfadh sé dearmad ar an beoir? an beoir agus an t-amhrán

Dare you to make an address as gaelige at a NEURA meeting - would maybe even go myself to see some of the faces :blackeye:
Most of them can barely speak English let alone Gaeilge....they probably wouldn't know the difference!

I am guessing a lot of people will be trying to figure out what is being posted so we better stick to their native tongue, otherwise we could end up with Welsh, Irish, Scottish and Yorkshire being spoken on here!
