Oh perhaps that's what's it's for as said above USB but more in taking possession off opposing team. That's said they had just won the league so they were in good spirits.
I've cautioned someone before for Verbally Distracting. But it was a defender yelling loudly 'he is going to miss' when a attacker was taking a penalty kick.
So we had a coaching night recently where it was discussed that striking can be done in a careless, reckless or EF manner... Resulting in the usual Nothing/YC/RC.
Is that in challenging for the ball??
I.e. You strike an opponent with your arm etc whilst jumping for a header...
However is it...
That's what I've always wondered as I've seen ref caution/send off players for saying the f word loudly for for instance scuffing the ball. To me if its not OFFINABUS then what part of the law are we 'hanging' them with? Under the unsporting banner, I've thought the closest is 'acts in a manner...

Hi team.
How do you decide how much time to add on? I've got a fandangled ref watch that I can pause for well, anything I want. The LOTG is very specific (injuries, subs) and then isn't (any other cause).
I'll be reffing with interchange. So when would you 'stop your watch'. Mine counts down and...
I really think it is one of those 'you have to be there' type incidents. And comes down to aggressiveness.
Of note looking at my local FA send off codes, R2 is Violent Conduct with a Grade of One (lowest) for 'pushing, no punches thrown'
