I had a 1, however it was fixed inside my works van so not technically a 'mobile' in the walkabout sense?

I then had a £600 ex bosses no 5 that i threw / dropped a spanner on in my tool box... black screen of death!!! OOPS!!

Can't actually remember exactly:mad:

But something close to 7.

First phone I bought was No3, Nokia 5.1 Brilliant phone, although not the first mobile I owned.

Prior to that, bought a new Sony portable TV and it came with a "free" Sony phone. Quite small, no screen, battery lasted about 2 hours max on standby, about 10 minutes if you actually made a call on it!

Nokia Orange .Cost about £250 quid cant remember how much line rental was but got 15 fee minutes. Purchased in 1996 then in 1997 somebody sent me a text. Wow that was out of this world!

Nokia 5110 (Number 6?)

This was purchased after I made a trip to Crystal palace for a midweek FA Cup replay. Got to the ground and couldn't find my wallet. I'd driven for 5 hours to get there, spent 15 seconds inside the ground before coming outside to try find a callbox to phone home. When I did, my wife (now ex) said my wallet wasn't there. Headed to South Norwood cop shop to report the loss of all credit cards etc. Drove home hoping my last £10 would cover my petrol costs, got home after another 5 hour drive to find the wallet on the window sill next to the house phone. The marriage lasted another 4 seasons after that...

It's how they all should be counted. Started during the end of season run-in, petered out as the promotion push faltered, collapsed under the weight of pre-season expectations, I could go on...

And yet, you stayed faithful to Leeds United.

Your devotion may yet pay off.
