Wow. Does that mean every referee gets a free tablet? My French is OK - I've been learning for about 4 years, and hoping to get better by going to France and using it in real conversations, situations etc. I wasn't planning to pick up a game when I arrive, it'd take a lot more planning than that!

Evening all, County FA have appointed me to referee a fixture in the reserve division of the FA WPL. I've been reading the competition rules, and substitutes literally aren't mentioned in the competition rules. Has anyone else had this problem? Or prehaps know the answer? Please help! Thanks,

Good question! Maybe if I get it high enough up above the pitch? Or just focus on a certain area (easy enough if you're AR I guess). Probably depend on the pitch and getting a good angle to get the most of the pitch I guess. I had a team this weekend with the audacity to accuse me of never...

I was thinking of getting a tripod to elevate it. As for players/spectators, I don't think they're ever happy, so probably not. Maybe hide it in the bushes? :P
