About 4-5 weeks ago i gave an U13s manager two yellow cards in a game.
This week ive got a hearing via zoom (or similar)
He is disputing the charge.
Is there anything i should be doing in preparation, ive got notes from the day and im a bit nervous about it but does anyone have any tips or...
Anyone see it ?
Roma player brought down ref gives a penalty and a second later Roma put the ball in an empty net.
One of those real tough ones but the referee probably made the right call.
Womens uni game today.
Team A losing 2-0, approx ten mins after the second goal im by the touchline and the manager of the losing team says "Eh ref that substitute who scored the second goal has been playing with no shinnies on"
I asked him why he had not mentioned it when she came on the...
Just got this today so a bit ropey with it, how do you add a caution for a foul reckless tackle?
When I click on yellow card it gives 7 C options but none for a foul that I can see.
Apologies if there is already a thread somewhere on this.
Never used the refsix app and want to start but unsure on what watch to get.
Is any sports smart watches compatible with the app !
Didn't quite get onto it myself at the time but the back pass from Jorghino which the keeper used his hands to stop a certain goal.
No free kick was given by the referee, im not sure if he played an advantage or not as haven't seen an angle when hes in shot.
If he did play advantage hes got...
So whats your thoughts on this.
A clear case to play advantage last night, blue player fouled half way line team mate picks up the ball with space and players ahead of him, a play advantage they mess it up.
Its no so much an issue of a team wanting best of both worlds here.
My point is...
Player kicks the ball towards you in anger after a free kick went against his team, the ball hits you.
Referee says to the player "You're gone" but pulls the wrong card out by mistake and shows a yellow.
Do you cancel the yellow and give him a red or let it be.
It was 7-0 with ten minutes to...
Had an incident which almost caught me out or at least i wasnt 100% sure on.
A defender is running towards his own goal and tries to play the ball to a team mate but hes slightly of balance, it goes back to the goalkeeper.
It wasn't a sliced clearance where you could 100% say it wasn't a...
I get it's 2021.
I've sent booked and sent people off for winning the ball and following though in a way deemed as reckless or more.
BUT
Yes it's a tough challenge, he's low, I'd say pretty much in control and he takes the ball cleanly.
I think this is one incident when it's just a good hard...
Dont know if anyone seen these but 4 parts on UEFA tv giving good insight into a referee on match days.

Listening to a referee podcast and one of the topics being spoken about is where do you keep your cards.
Ive always kept mine together with my book and pencil top pocket.
An observer on there saying (not right or wrong) to keep book in back pocket and cards separate in front poclet.
The talking point from the first half the Villa goal that was chalked off.
I personally think its the correct call.
The TV saying the goalkeeper wouldn't have saved it but that matters not.
Under 13s game two teams from the same club.
An elderly man had been watching his grandson playing right back so was standing by him for support.
Hes making his way over the pitch half time to again stand by his grandson and we start chatting about refereeing, football in general, football...
Has anyone covered any games in this league ?
I know its 4x20 minute quarters but any other rules/laws that might catch me out.
Do they have sin bin rules ?
