Great advice. I've been caught out by not giving because I couldn't say I'd 100% "seen", but this has probably caused more issues than giving the decision. All part of the fun of trying to balance what is undeniable and "seen" and what is expected.

Perhaps consider taping it up if it won't come off?

If it's a 9 or 11 a side match with off sides, it counts. You need to keep a note of the match and the result. You will probably get a form for complete from your Referee Development Officer (RDO) where you record your 5 matches. I'd also recommend getting into the ha it of recording the match...

I think that VAR wouldn't have suggested the ref went back to award a pen if he hadn't awarded it in the first place. But it's not a wrong decision.

Based on a presentation my RDO gave last week, you cannot use the same games for 7-6 as 4w-3w... so you really will be pushing yourself!
