Seven cautions, and a lot to improve on. But nobody died or got sent off, so I would consider this one a win.
A couple of players treading on the line for a second yellow, but luckily the manager had the sense to take them off as a sub (I didn't ask him to do this, but it was obvious they were on their last chances).
Felt a bit weird working with assistants who were refereeing before I was born even, but they did well.
Game was 3-0 until the last fifteen, then it became 3-1 and you felt the atmosphere raise into something hostile.
Good thing I clamped down, I'd rather have 7 cautions than having a mass confrontation in a final.
