Yeah, that isn't a caution for me. Had he played the ball and then followed through onto the opponent I would say it was correct, but the opponent actually comes into Boly's leg. Can understand why it has happened though, he only gets one view and probably hasn't seen the touch on the ball.
 
Another example of not having ex-pros (without laws of the game knowledge) in VAR room, co-commentator talking about referee giving the red card for Serious Foul Play, you can argue its not reckless but....

What's it got to do with whether ex-pros know the arcane terminology of the laws? Any ex-pro in the VAR room could soon learn that.

Nobody but the referee (and not him if he had been given a chance to see a replay of his C and O error) thinks it was even a foul.

The problem is that VAR is advising reviews for errors that are not C and O, and not advising reviews for errors that are. And doing nothing about other obvious C and O KMDs that don't fit the protocol.
