Two game days

I try and avoid 2 game days as much as possible.......they always seem like a good idea at the time....but by 4pm on a Sunday you remember why they are such a bad idea!
 
I try to avoid 2 game weekends nowadays. My knees are fit for nothing by Monday if I do both days. Age isn't kind!
 
Have you tried using a foam roller?
In my younger fitter days I would regularly do two phys sessions a day, an hour or so in the morning with work (ex Army) followed by a 5 mile run home.
Foam roller did wonders for me in terms of recovery.
