Picked up a Sonik Blast from Greaves in Glasgow (the guys who supply the SFA Referees with their gear) on the way back from Ayr.
Like the lanyard you get with it as well.
Will be trying it this Thursday in local action.

Tried it out on two games so far - bloody brilliant. Can get much more of a variation in tone with it than I can with the Fox 40 - and the loudness is excellent. Although I spent the first 10 minutes of the game on Thursday partially deaf as I foolishly gave it a full blast at kickoff.
Haven't had players continue playing after the whistle as I did at times with the Fox 40 - and another upside to the Sonik - because I end up deafening myself with it - I find my voice is louder when giving instructions mainly so that I can hear myself!
