Say for example you were at a game that was being assessed and when you go to check teams kits both teams have different coloured tops but the shorts and socks are the same colour (say black).

I know that tape (if used) should be the same colour as the socks but could you ask one team to add white tape on their socks so that it is easier to say who the last touch was? Would you be marked down?

Probably, although I have asked a goalkeeper to put coloured tape around their socks to differentiate them from attackers.

I had that but tops were similar. The away team didn't have there kit on them so I got the home team to
Change.
All sorted.

Done that a few times, and we have to report it. Away team are usually reprimanded or fined for not providing suitable equipment for their players.
