What I don't understand is if he is less than 1m why does the referee need to review it? Surely it is like encroachment on a penalty it's an offence in law.. so if VAR pick it up they tell the referee who responds accordingly. Why the need to check it on screen and suggest it is a subjective...

So disappointing at the lack of any action against Wilson. And players from every team constantly giving the referee their commentary and getting involved in VAR decisions is beyond ridiculous. Why does no referee seem to take any action apart from a polite request to go away.
