What is there to say about undershorts?
I know they are supposed to be the same colour as the kit shorts but on the local parks I count myself fortunate if all one team has only one colour of shorts.
That being the case I am never going to stop a lad from playing because his shorts don't match...
Watching the F.A.Cup matches last weekend, and the referees wearing the compulsory all black traditional kit, I wondered how many County F.A.'s now allow their referees to wear coloured tops for matches at all levels. And if so is the choice of colours restricted and enforced?

All this discussion about the impartiality of referees reminds me of a match when I had two CAR's and one of them was known to me as he was a qualified referee and had lined for me before in a County Cup game.

Exactly and logical and how I was taught - at throw-ins the feet are lino's responsibility, everything else is refs - except in West Yorkshire - sorry West Riding - where everything is down to the ref when you have CARs.
