For a 12 year old, absolutely!

Not so much corrected, but an u12 academy player once gave me a decision before I could process it. Penalty kick comes back off the post, no touch from the GK. Same player kicks it into the net and the defender looks at me and says "indirect free kick, ref?" It was so quick and almost angelic...

I think this is an excellent decision, the player clearly attempts to play the ball which impacts the goalkeeper's ability to react

it's one of those which feels unfair and "football probably doesn't want penalties to be given for this" but was always going to be a penalty
