ok than so i think being friendly with kids is always easy . Making them think you are not there to judge them/determine the game but make them have a good time (maybe the casual wink to a player just so you make him feel like there is a connection) and not focus on you. You need to be also...

IMO , trying to be always friendly is always a good thing. Sunday league needs to be a banter , a place to release the stress of the week so nothing too serious. Getting to know people and maybe finding something personal . Example : one of the managers is a fan of Man.Utd and u make a joke...

Goal line is def the future but its kind of far away from being adopted anywhere soon below top level leagues. Just not efficient :sorry:

Damn this is interesting , what age are the players ? In 2 months almost of same rate of games (6 in a week) of 25 min halfes ref'ing u-13 and u-15 , we rarely use cards but i've only given two :p one of them being player offending own teammate.

I mean a stop-image does not tell you the true story most of the time . But if the leg continues forward like that 100%red . If he goes for the ball while the ball was there and he was late , he lowers the leg and maybe his top part of the boot ends un scratching him a bit is a yellow IMO .
