The ref makes a decision based on what his AR says that he saw in real time, I agree, but I am sure that in most cases you can tell that something has happened, even if you aren't sure what. Also, if you could view it yourself to double check if you have missed something, you would in many...

Had one in a Contrib game. Ball was going out so manager kicked it to his fb to take the throw. Unfortunately he failed to let it cross the line first, up goes the flag for outside interference.

Those of us up the other end of the ground were totally confused with the drop ball, we had no idea that it was on the pitch when the BB picked it up. Nearly as bad as when VAR gets involved and the crowd are kept in the dark

VAR is supposed to be about Clear and Obvious errors. A ref saying no to something that is against current interpretation is a C&O error so should be called. However the VAR assistant HAS to suggest the ref reviews it on the monitor as it is a subjective decision and all subjective decisions...
