If you have written your report correctly then that should be that. Nothing to add, or take away

if you have something to add, why was it not on the report in the first place !!

I find it curious that some people have had to attend several of these hearings. Not 1 in 7 years reffing for me and as per the card count thread I am not one of our more lenient colleagues either
 
The ability to appeal a red card is now virtually non-existent. Up until relatively recently players could appeal everything.

They used to be a lot more common, at one point they might as well have given me a pass for the building I was there so often ... :)

Probably why I ended up on the other side of the table and sat on commissions for a while.
 
When the County FAs changed from term-based to match-based sanctions in 2011, players lost the right to request a personal hearing for a sending off. You will only ever have to attend if the player/club has had a misconduct charge, have pleaded not guilty and requested a personal hearing.
