I get a lot of this during pre-season and it actually is helpful both in the middle and on the line. It helps you focus for the season. Now I always ensure my last season game is with my assistants on right backs.

Given the situation on the final I actually disagreed with the referee in the changing room and said he should have allowed the goal, once he let play continue. I also advised the assistant he should not have raised his flag and caused the whole situation by doing so. If only all situations...

I know he was going to disallow it because that is what he did. He allowed play to continue then when the goal was scored he disallowed it. Read the originally text. I was on the other line

yes and so was the referee in disallowing it. So for match control if he was going to disallow the goal, better to do it when the assistant flags rather than after they score and chaos reigns
