I was saddened today to hear of the death of the former Welsh Premier Referee & my Referee instructor Mr Ian Greaney. Ian was also Chairman for the Monmouthshire Referee Association & secretary of Cwmbran Town AFC. His passing as deeply affected myself & the other Referees in the Gwent FA. RIP Ian.

Any time the powers that be get together I guess? I hope they don't want me to turn up for my normal games wearing it?

I had a lady spectator on the side lines who's water had broken in the first half go into full blown labour through the second half. An ambulance was called & turned up with 2 minutes left, parking on the pitch. Score was 5-2 at the time & both teams agreed to call it a day rather than wait for...

I've been told I have to wear it at all official meetings, don't think I've worn a tie since school! So its left over right, under, over & through?

Received my Referee's Certificate & County tie tonight from the FAW & Gwent FA. Thanks to all at the Football Association of Wales for this.

My game yesterday between the Reds & Blues. In my pre match chat said the usual including OFFINABUS language aimed at me would result in a caution or worse. All were in agreement that this wouldn't happen. Within one minute off the game starting & a decision given against their team the captain...

The away team won but every player moaned about every decision to the point that i was getting annoyed. There must have been 20 foul throws, players going down like they`d been shot & generally behaving like kids not adults. Did enjoy it though & i`m looking forward to doing it all again next week.

Yeah I'm all packed & ready to go, but I bet I've forgotten something obvious!
