As a referee you are responsible for the SAFETY of the players. If you felt that the head injury was severe enough to warrant a break, you can ask the player to leave the field. (but you can't force a sub).
At that age if they're down for 2+ mins there is usually something not right
Best advice, 'the best referee is one who is not noticed, unless required.' also don't be late and check your kit on the Thurs before the fixture. Have fun
Remember, law states that handball must be deliberate, therefore deliberate handball is not a question, just weather it was dogso, which this wasn't so it's a C1 for unsporting behaviour. Can only send off if it is dogso. Hope this helps
I have found that for cautions I draw the line at U12, but for Dismissals it is not age related (excessive force maybe yellow if they didn't mean it). Just use your common sence
