Ending the Game during promising attack

I wouldn't recommend blowing up as a team are on the attack, especially whilst the score is level or the attacking team are a goal down. You could have a great game for 90 mins, and they will only focus on where you ended the game. End it in a Neutral zone in the middle of the park.

    Advantage or free kick

How long exactly was there between the foul and the ball rolling to the other attacker? In reality from sunday league to prem unless its a clear goal scoring advantage then teams prefer the FK. What do they practice in training and before games?.... Direct Free kicks at goal.

    Advantage or free kick

Sounds like a good advantage, in the green zone, if it fell kindly and the shot let them down. After having the shot you can't bring it back, that was the advantage. If you blew your whistle and they'd scored just after your name would of been mud. It's just unfortunate that they went up the...

    Should this game abandoned?

It's a difficult position for the referee to be in. @Alex71 what were the referee's comments as to what the opinion of the clubs, managers and players were?

Dartford v Maidstone, offside or not? Ref reverses assistant's flag.

Yeah he was too quick. Hasn't taken the time given to him to think and process the information. We have more time than we think to make a decision. :)

Dartford v Maidstone, offside or not? Ref reverses assistant's flag.

AR was too quick with the flag. Should of waited, thought about it, seen if there was an appeal by the GK. Then kept his flag down. The goal was expected, came as a surprise and nearly got the defense out of the sh1t

Open Age It's been a quiet season so far....

Hi Lincs22 It is my understanding that now you can put all the information on one misconduct report and the county will decide how many charges to put against the player from the information you provide. I did as you said once and the CFA Discipline officer rang me and said just to put it on...

    Warm Ups

It's possibly worse when you're on the line and don't warm up. You could be stood idle for some time if play is up the other end then be required to put in a sprint, which is a risk on your hamstrings if you haven't warmed up for what your body needs. Also, there will come a time when a...

    Line Assessment

Don't really know what the mark would be but learn from it. Always follow the ball back to the goalkeeper. Don't appeal it, it goes no where it is just an advisory assessment, if you appeal nothing will happen and you will just look a bit silly.

    What Constitutes A "Foul Throw?"

I only give "foul throws" when it's expected. Whats the point in being clever with something which is just getting the ball in play?
