Well it game of the defender last so it would be a corner.
If the GK/Corner was given we wouldn't of seen the video. But it is the correct decision by the assistant and at that level with all the camera's they live and die by making the correct decision. If there was clear video evidence to...
Haha, maybe slightly ambitious. Players will rarely run more than 20 metre's in a straight line. Straight line speed I'd be surprised if most people can't do between 5..5 to 8 m/second over short distances.
As this topic has now had 117 reply's. I'd say whatever you decide to do be strong, be firm and be consistent in your game of 90 minutes.
We're never going to all agree. Anything more than a two seconds is a long time on a football pitch as running at speed the average footballer (and referee)...
I've never had this. Being a public place you can't stop anyone from recording. Even on the high street people are allowed to record other people.
Just don't flap remain calm (Don't say anything stupid as it will go viral), and speak to the league / FA after.
Nationally are they though?
In some area's they're having to use level 5's on supply middles. Not as a 'development game' either. I agree that people who under perform should be removed off the list, but it will leave the supply league short and more importantly the contrib short of assistants...
I had a player/manager approach me before KO two weeks ago, "I'm not the captain but I'm the manager can I talk to you during the game" - " Of course you can talk, I'll treat you like ever other player on the pitch"
My first C2 of the season.
It's good that you appreciate the importance of lining. It's an art in itself.
However, it's your refereeing that will get you to level 4. Then as a level 4 referee it is your refereeing that will get you to level 3 not your lining. Only then at level 3 is there a promotion pathway for...
No such thing as obvious @SM :p
Was there an appeal? Was there a reaction? Game seemed flat. Ipswich said it was a gift.
Just run past the defender and say, "Lucky there lad" - Then he buys you a pint after the game. ;)
1. Positioning / Movement during fluid play - Getting that angle and not getting too wide so I'm never caught out on that 9/5 and looking at a challenge right from behind it, making sure play develops infront of me all the time rather than being in the middle of play. Working on it at the...
