    Crawley Vs Grimsby red card

Feels like karma was done. Player acts like a BE, misses the rest of the game, turns out he doesn’t have to miss any others.

    Time is time...

If additional time has elapsed, and a team scores in extra-additional due to “vibes” then that’s unfair on the opponents.

    Atletico v Barca VAR

Was the same game last night, yeah. Remember Club Brugge (?) being penalised for it earlier this season and a pen awarded.

    Atletico v Barca VAR

Same two teams, but in the UCL last night. How on earth the referee went yellow for the DOGSO was baffling.

    Have you ever ...

I've definitely turned up to RA meetings a week early. Every 2nd Monday until suddenly one isn't. Cheap beer there though so no drama 🍻

    Have you ever ...

Within five miles of each other round here are Hunter Park, Hunts Farm, and Hatches Farm. The number of panicked calls I received as an Appt Sec with teams and refs not at the same one at the same time was staggering.

    Atletico v Barca VAR

Imagine waking up in your villa in A Coruña and wandering down to your pool, sipping on a cortado before opening Los Moas and seeing you've been sent to Brentford v Everton on a Wednesday next week. Think I'd burn my passport.

Martinelli incident - Southampton vs Arsenal FA Cup QF

If Martinelli got a two-game domestic ban, he'd miss the Man City match so as we can see this is yet another example of anti-citzzzzzzzzzzz 🥱 🎣;)

Martinelli incident - Southampton vs Arsenal FA Cup QF

Should've gone down like any Arsenal player would have. Could probably roll his way over the Itchen Bridge.

    Advantage

Usually a cop out from a Ref who was never going to give that FK but the ball breaks nicely so it’s a tickbox for the observer

    Advantage

I’ve had captains say pre-game that they’d prefer to lump a free-kick into the box rather than a final-third advantage. Reasonable request imo. Simply said I’d judge each incident as it happens and be consistent for both teams. Possession doesn’t always equal advantage.

    Doncaster v Mansfield - Offside

    Shocking defending

    IFAB changes for 26-27

The ball doesn't accidentally do anything, it is purposefully kicked.
