Your CFA will back you, you just paid for a quarter of their Christmas party! ;)

    'Mine! Mine!'

Sure, but impeding is a grey area anyway as it stands. I can think of twice in probably hundred games or so where I've given a free kick for impeding, so imagining a situation where a player would be stupid enough to do it in a DOGSO fashion is hard... I also would think twice about whether...

    Junior/Youth First County Cup Game

Give ref sec in the leagues you ref on a call first thing, likelihood is somebody will have a pullout where you can fill in. :)

    'Mine! Mine!'

I really don't think any IDFK can be considered DOGSO, if we're putting our actual game heads on here...

    'Mine! Mine!'

Hope you're joking monkey. DOGSO can only apply to a penal offence? EDIT: Oops wrong!! But what IDFK offences could possibly genuinely constitute dogso? :o

    'Mine! Mine!'

I got taught when I played football a few years ago (and I still see coaches teaching it now) that you HAVE to put a name on the ball and nothing else. Of course I believed it up until reading the book myself just before I started my refs course... never seen a ref give a FK for "mine" or...

Player fails to give his name

Player fails to give his name

I thought the same given the nature of the things Jimmy Saville is known for. Kind of sank my heart when I overheard parents of the boys team ask him what he got sent off for, he replied "telling the ref my name was jimmy saville" and the parents started laughing... Of course I didn't send him...

    My first personal hearing...

Oh, I'd already prepared myself for that... I mean, I thought the whole process would be sitting around a conference table with the discipinary officer, probably another FA rep, myself and the accused... no? Care to shed some further light mr monkey?

Player fails to give his name

Had a player at U15s who I walked for F&A language give his name as Jimmy Saville. He didn't realize the consequences of me putting through Jimmy Saville as being sent off, thankfully the manager did and gave me the correct name.

    Junior/Youth Foul throws...

I think a lot of the time throws are crap throws rather than foul throws, and 90% of the time a "foul throw" shout from a player gets a reply of "rubbish throw, not a foul". Occasions where it's very obvious etc I'll blow up and give it other way regardless of age group.

Might take a limo in that case. :D Take a colleague? Really? We're meant to do that? :o

    Dissent from injured player

Seems like you did the right thing although generally it's considered best to wait for an injured player to return to his feet before showing a caution... but not a necessity by any means. :)

    My first personal hearing...

Got the dreaded letter today for one. My first too, OA game but this one I was on my own, no assistants. Not liking the fact that CFA HQ is almost a 100 mile round trip either!

Not a foul, not a dive

If you stop the game to caution a player for a non-penal offence then the correct restart is an IDFK, so you got that part right at least.
