Youth football or adult football, though? No offence whatsoever intended but if you're at adult football and you've given just 6 yellows in 50 matches I'd be seriously wondering how the f*** you manage that... I mean even at youth level that's pretty damn amazing

1. Don't bother. Really not needed probably until you're at 4. I know some 4s who don't have them. 2. Predominantly adult football I would assume but 2.5 cards/game isn't too bad of a rate. If you take my adult games alone this season, I've had 4 middles and issued 18 yellows and 3 reds.

Not really seen it done at grassroots level, but when seen done on TV I've always seen the guy who lays in return to sideline and then come back to remove it afterwards. At grassroots level I would say lay it and stand on the circle, not with either team or the referee, but maybe directly...

I know most refs would use common sense and do it anyway but weird to think that not one of the three leagues I ref for have sent out any guidance/reminders about the minutes' silence, especially considering on one of the leagues there's a heck of a lot of lvl 9s reffing.
