    even level 3's....

Would it not be reasonable for the referee to have considered a foul to have taken place, and thus attempted to play advantage, and then upon realizing the potentially serious nature of the injury decided to pull it back for the free kick... granted, for the ball to have moved as far up the...

    Junior/Youth Proactiveness asked to stop

About all they'll get from me is a "hands down fellas" at a free kick or a "nothing silly" at a corner. Other than that if they want to do something stupid they can have a lemon.

Open Age Game tomorrow (assistants question)

Thanks for the advice all. I decided to go without it and used CARs, and guess what? 67th minute of the game and away teams only sub is running the line, gets pissed off at a player for disagreeing with his flag (which in his defence was correct, but all player said was "no way") so started...

    County Badges

I have exact same shirt, mind you I've put both badges on it. If you haven't got a county badge mate have you at least got an FA referee one?

Open Age Game tomorrow (assistants question)

We get that every week here - "Ref watch out they moan about everything they're horrible". "Ref watch out last time we played them their manager told me to go suck a cornflake" "Ref watch out their number 9 told my dog to go **** itself"

    Pitch invader

"Any other misconduct on his part"... what more do you want other than assaulting a seven/eight year old. And yes haywain it's assault... if someone walked up to a seven year old child on the street and picked them up and it was evident the child didn't know/was no relation to this person, what...

    Pitch invader

But you can send him packing in the sense of revoking his privileges as team manager? You can also refuse to play if he is in the vicinity of the pitch, forcing him to move on... and in the specific situation stated, I would do that, considering the guy had practically just assaulted an eight...

The OPPOSITION manager picked up a kid from the other team? I'd be sending for that, reporting and possibly raising a concern with LWO too.

How about a 'Go watch a Refchat ref' month?

I can myself remember at least 5 guys who were fairly regular posters here who were Kent. refdave83 is one guy I remember off the top of my head, gave me some advice when I joined my first OA league last year.

Refereeing has turned me into a monster

Closest I've got is getting in front of the camera for about 2 seconds as a steward at a Football Conference club I work at on a live TV game. ;)

Open Age Game tomorrow (assistants question)

Have a game tomorrow at a club I didn't have a good time with last year. As always, new game, new mindset, but I have heard complaints from several refereeing colleagues about this particular team already this season and we're only 6 games in. :( Bit of a weird question, but what are your guys'...

Refereeing has turned me into a monster

No county offers the ability to appeal yellows. Only chance you can ever appeal them is for mistaken identity and they won't entertain it unless there's video evidence. Reds can be appealed on grounds of mistaken identity with video evidence. I think also adult reds can be appealed here...

Refereeing has turned me into a monster

I do open age Saturdays, youth league Sundays. Only ever had one incident at open age where I felt I didn't do well/could've done better, at youth level it's been a few times but some not my fault at all! Done a few lines on a senior county league this year which I've loved, I try to grab them...

Refereeing has turned me into a monster

Of course. As the blues manager approached me on the pitch, her and parents of the team were calling me a cheat, saying I'd ruined the game etc... it really wasn't appropriate to enter into a conversation although I did point out that I would have to abandon and report it if they refused to...
