    Liverpool vs newcastle

Dowd was nowhere near the play during any incident and was dreadful in most of his decisions today. Even as a Liverpool fan I would never have sent the second guy off, it wasn't a red card at all. Obviously none of us know what Shola said to Phil to get sent off but I imagine it was probably...

    Unwanted contact..off the pitch

I've seen a referee walk over to abusive parents (a few years ago, when I was a tiddlywink myself) and try to hand them the whistle and watch, got him some brownie points & he didn't have no crap for the rest of the match. Was brilliant.

    celebration of goal

By law - no, it's not a mandatory yellow card. But, I would be cautioning for entering a spectator area. Although the stadium was clearly near-empty, by allowing players to enter a spectator area when celebrating you're just opening yourself up for all kinds of trouble.

    Unwanted contact..off the pitch

I got "the referees a ****er" chant from a bunch of kids who thought they were funny (didn't recognize any of them) after walking into a shop once after a game with my FA referee tracksuit top on. :D

    WOW ...

Very good appointment. Hope you've put that incident through as Violent Conduct against a match official as that's what it is and the player will get a hefty ban for it. PS: Why are you smiling?! Referees aren't allowed to enjoy themselves!!! ;)

One or Two (or Three or Four) Cards

Sorry but I don't think I'm able to seriously answer the question, still crying with laughter at the thought of this. If I had a player say this to me I might just have to abandon, don't think I'd be in a fit state to continue. :D

    Implication that you're a cheat

In our neck of the woods if you cautioned for this it would be plain and simple "showing dissent by word or action".

    Well done, Chelski

    Howard Webb

They lost confidence in him after this: How can you retain confidence in a referee who claims to be a Police officer who witnesses a GBH assault on the pitch and lets it go?

    Danny Welbeck Penalty

You're spot on. For me, although I don't think it was a penalty, I don't know how that's not DOGSO if it's considered to be a foul and should have been sent off.

    Danny Welbeck Penalty

Not a penalty. There's not enough contact there for Welbeck to go down, he's already off balance before he's touched - although not a dive as he's clearly making an effort to still get the ball. But not a penalty, for me. Minimal contact.
