Just perform consistently well throughout the season. After so few games though, I wouldn't get your hopes up as you are still quite new to refereeing and still finding your feet, so to speak
Hi guys,
I reffed a mix of adult and youth football last season but dropped the adults due to low confidence. I love refereeing and want to progress so I was wondering if anyone on here had any advice to build more confidence?
The RefSec of my league has backed me and is still giving me games. My RDO said he will support me but the discipline department are decidimg whether or not I should be charged or not
I submitted 2 reports. One about the supporters and one about the manager.
He also claims that because I didn't give a free kick for what he thought was a dangerous tackle (I didn't see it personally as my view was obstructed by about 5 players due to it being from a corner which didn't beat...

My question is: Is this dissent by action and thus punishable by a caution which would have been his second?
I understand Padder's argument. I have always been told that we are not supposed to be liked, but respected.
The OP has made a decision that will increase the chance of them liking him. In future this will lead to some teams taking the piss and walking all over him.
My advice - start with...
LOTG still apply in friendlies. I don't agree with the substitution replacing a red card. It is the player's fault he has committed a RC offence and so should be punished. The team will deal with him better if it negatively affects their performance becaus they are a man down
