    Feisty one today!

You can make all the excuses you wish it is your perogative as a referee, but for me a red card every time for the word c***. I've shown a red twice in two seasons for it and both different "context" and there was no appeal hearings, the players walked with no protest and no comments from...

    The use of homophobic language

Um no! leeway, what leeway? .... not in the laws. Referees cannot circumvent the laws of the game just as much as players cannot.

    The use of homophobic language

I put said same scenario to the disciplinary secretary at my F.A. (previously posted) no-one was offended, no-one was insulted, no-one was abused but i was informed it would still be a red card offence as the language was used, regardless, what your own F.A. would interpret is another matter why...

    The use of homophobic language

I sent an email today to the disciplinary secretary at my F.A. and this was the reply : "Yes it would definitely warrant a red card and we would be investigating it further to see if it also warranted a misconduct charge" So i stand corrected and change my earlier comment to "Red Card "

    The use of homophobic language

    Full time

I do not " add time" on (apart from penalty scenario) i stop the watch on substitutions/injuries/time wasting etc. so my watch will indicate when that 45 minutes/90 minutes is up.

    The use of homophobic language

At this stage of the debate, I would be inclined to contact my F.A. and clarify my position, and would stand corrected if proven wrong.

    The use of homophobic language

In what was described initially.... i would give him a bollocking, and a warning but no card

    The use of homophobic language

Why would i do nothing !! i would give him a public rebuke so all players know it would not be tolerated inclusive of " even though you did not call anybody directly a queer" No i would not send him off unless he directly called a player a queer....

    Full time

I have actually done this in a league match last season and on a corner..... ball comes over gets kicked out by defender, i looked at my watch and 90 mins up as i put the whistle to my mouth and am blowing it a player thunderbolts it into the bottom corner, and the only player that complains is...
