What happened was the player scored a goal then stole the vanishing spray from the referee. He then tried to write something with it but failed. The referee booked him for USB.
I'm sending him off for VC, it's no different than him slapping me across the face. But I would hope that at the level the use of vanishing spray is authorized at the player would has a lot more sense than that.
I'm extremely happy to announce that my Tottenham Hotspur Facebook/Twitter page (COYS News) are finalists at this years Football Blogging Awards, are in with a chance of winning the 'Best Young Football Blog' of the year award, and I will be attending the awards ceremony at 'Hotel Football' in...
So for the 3rd game running I was assessed last weekend. I've got to say I'm very pleased with this one. If anyone read my last assessment two of the development points were to improve my whistle technique and positioning at set pieces, both of which we're given as positives in this game. I used...
It's actually 'Dyffryn' But I'll let you off this time ;)!
Be prepared to get changed in the smallest changing room you will come across in North Wales though, shockingly small!!
Let me know how you get on though.
I was again assessed on Saturday. A game between two local teams and was played in good spirit. It was a good assessment, with some good development points.
One of the observations the assessor made was in regard to jewellery. I had a bizarre situation where one of the players was late in a...
For me, that ball is in play. The assistant knows it, but I dont think he considered that the first player touched it 3 times.
I have to add though, that is some shocking defending!
My first assessment of the season from my first game has come through today. Main points we're about my positioning which I know need improving but I believe this comes with experience, especially when it comes to working with NAR's. Looking back at the game, I am dissapointed with myself for...
I've gone for Iber Cup in Spain and Paris again, and with the euros being on it would be silly not to go, it was such a good time this year I have to go back!
Well what a week! Met some great people and finished off the week officiating the U19's final, which was won by the host team Pitray Olier. Also well done to @Josh who was appointed a final. Although at times it was a little disorganised it all came together by the end of the week. Fantastic...
Just been told i don't have anywhere to stay tomorrow so I've had to book my own hotel. Not what i want tot be doing the day before i fly. @Yacinho I'm staying at the Ibis Hotel in Aubervillers, which is the best way to get to it from Charles De Gaulle. Do you think a taxi will cost much?
It was terrible officiating all round, USA were incredibly fortunate to still have 11 on the field, Germany can and will feel massively hard done by. There's been a few shockers in this tournament. This is by far the worst decision I have ever seen!
I'm doing a mixture of running exercises, 5k's, HIIT etc. I've started swimming recently which is nice, apparently the best kind of exercise! I'm planning on getting my boots on soon and doing some sprinting work on a football pitch. I was promoted to the second tier of Wales this year so I want...
