    Phil Neville England Ladies Coach

It was a joke more based towards Gary (as per the comment above) after his rather poor managerial stint there. Stop spoiling my fun :( :P

    Phil Neville England Ladies Coach

At least I got through that test without an injury :(

    Phil Neville England Ladies Coach

He won’t be going on holiday to Spain anytime soon that’s for sure :D

I'm not sure he has! Pretty sure it was Phil :D

    Lyon vs PSG

Those pesky sleeves - I think that's what Alves was angry about, fashion faux pas:rolleyes::D

    Lyon vs PSG

While I agree with that, in this instance I dont think he has. Alves came up and got in his face - admittedly a step back and looking at him in a manner which displays suitable disapproval would have sufficed.

    Lyon vs PSG

I think the ref's done well there. I get @Ciley Myrus point but if you back off there you make yourself look weak. Stand your ground and if anyone crosses the line, they know what's coming. Tackle was a yellow but Alves's reaction has got himself sent off. Verratti would receive yellow in...

    Slide Tackles in Youth Football

@boulderdomb must admit mate I think you're brave talking to the teams beforehand - particularly saying what you will and won't tolerate and even more so that you'll be quick to the cards! Should you make a decision which contradicts that you're looking at all ends of problems for the remainder...

    Slide Tackles in Youth Football

I 100% believe they should be part of the game. One of the best spectacles of football is a brilliant sliding tackle. As long as its controlled then nothings wrong at all. Of course, as soon as it becomes out of control then we have the tools to deal with it.

    0-0 Draws

I actually had one on Sunday. It was atrocious - Defensive players falling over everywhere and still no goals!!

Did you believe him @GraemeS? ;)

    Wolves V Swansea

It concerns me that people believe that the red card was to even things out. No self respecting referee would fall foul of this. It was a correct dismissal, he deliberately kicked the opponent. In my opinion if a referee calls this a trip and a caution, you're asking for injuries and...

Not even going for the ball. Dismissed for that before, would do again. Good call AT.

Stopping Dissent before it gets worse?

If you've had a word and it's doing nothing a yellow card should shut them up. If it doesn't, they're off and away from the vicinity... and if their teammates want to join them, no problem.

    Palmers FC Referees

No need for that! ;) If I'm honest, I think that while some are genuine errors, I feel as though some refs are unwilling to make the difficult decisions because they know that they'll take a battering on the YouTube comments...

Just curious - anyone officiating on Xmas Eve?

I have a game on 23rd and then I'm done until the weekend of 6/7th where I've got 3 games - making up for lost time!:D

    Ekaterina Kostyunina - Referee Apparently!!

I'm sure she is a very good referee and has a very good personality. :P

    Solanke Handball

I couldn't possibly comment on the Solanke incident - I've not seen it. But the first one, like I've said, was very naive defending. Lovren needs to wise up because from the angle that Craig Pawson had, I'd have been inclined to make the same decision. If, as consensus says, that the Solanke...
