I understand it always varies depending on location etc, but where would you realistically have to finish in your merit table to be in with a shout? Top 10 usually enough or are you looking closer to the top 3/4 like mid season?

What doesn’t sit right with me is the amount of VC sending offs there are without police intervention. It feels like if the referee spotted this and sent him off, it might not have received the same social media traction and result in police involvement.

I’ve unexpectedly found myself in a position where mid season promotion is achievable and of course, I didn’t note down the date for the January assessment day, only the one in May. Does anyone have the date for mid season?

Why is it just the VAR referee who gets ‘punished’. They recommend a review, rightly or wrongly. It’s still the onfield referee that makes the final decision. This gives the impression the onfield referee doesn’t get much of a say

The second one is a horrible situation for a referee. If he goes down it’s given but if he stays up, you’re continuously waiting for him to break free. We want to encourage players to stay in their feet but having done he’s come out worse off

It appears in our pool 71.8 is around average which is slightly lower from what it was last season. That could be because the general scoring is lower but also an adaption period for people
