Personally find it a big shame that referees are offered minimal help at a weekend... And that county fa's promote this lack of support.
Surely it would be better to educate club lino's on the offside law, this allowing them to support referees more fully...
Ho hum
@HullRef
A tip I was given is to wait before calling an advantage... Think: foul - 1,2,3 - then decide whether to call advantage or pull it back... Gives you that extra time to decide
Personally I wouldn't expect this to lead to a player reacting badly... This sort of calm, relaxed refereeing is a big part of my game and for me, the hand on the shoulder can really help a situation and is not something I am thinking of changing
Personally no issue whatsoever with the hand on the shoulder... Can't understand personally why so many refs seem to think that they shouldn't touch players and vice versa.
If player had commited VC because of it then it has to be a red card, and personally if have been calling in the captain...
Ahh really?? I love the CMG!!
And my sonic is very nice now I've got used to it... Prefer the classic but have used the blast a couple of times for handbags
So... U16 county cup semi final... Kick off in beautiful weather then the English winter kicks in and drops to about 1 Celsius with driving wind and snow... Half time comes and the home manager (u15) takes his team off citing duty of care... Referee therefore abandons game as only 1 team left...
