Go for a run on your local field and blow your whistle anyway... Even take a football and whistle everytime you kick it In a goal if you really want... Beats housework surely
Do it... Very little difference in the games you'll do (at least round here) and just 1 more level out the way for if you ever want to progress further... Also nice to get feedback on performances via assessments
I was always told to hold the card slightly to the side... If you hold it directly between yourself and the player it is likely your arm may block you view of them, however if you hold it slightly to the side you can maintain that view and gaze if necessary
