    Open Age Caution for handball

I would give BOD if assistant had been flagging as we don't generally blow for throw ins - but that's beyond the bounds of the original post.

    Open Age Caution for handball

Play to the whistle!! Obviously not if assistant had flagged and ref was overruling.

    Players Favourite Sayings #2

'But I got the ball...' Translated as... (The fact that I came in knee high with studs up, through the back of his legs and would have put him off work for at least 3 months if I had missed doesn't matter - I GOT THE BALL)

    Was I correct?

If you deem it a deliberate back pass , played with the foot to the keeper, then it's the correct decision. (The kick). For me, personally, sliding and playing the ball would be, potentially, a hard sell. One of those had to be there moments.

Any chance he maybe did it because being assessed? What would be consequences assessment wise if the ref refused to play the game?

    Referee in a bib

I thought this couldn't happen in England and Wales - from reading posts I was under the impression refs could only wear black and that teams couldn't wear black or very dark. Different here and so a clash is occasionally unavoidable.

    Referee in a bib

My match a fortnight ago - 1 team (away) in yellow and black stripes and black back - can't wear my yellow or my black kit. Home team wearing red and black stripes, firsts away with the alternative kit - can't wear my red one either. Ended up wearing my blue track top. Should I have gone...

"OFFINABUS" or "delay that taxi" ...?

Yes. Racist language applies to all without distinction. As posted above anyone can be offended by the language, not just the direct recipient of it.

Why I Can't Be Bothered with NEURA (North East Ulster RA)

Yeah, NE Ulster is Antrim and Down. Such a blending of places in counties that it's an easy mistake to make! Will be an interesting event and hopefully people will have the courage to maybe start afresh!! Backscratching, religion and nepotism. Welcome to the North of Ireland.

Why I Can't Be Bothered with NEURA (North East Ulster RA)

Traditionally, NEURA always elected a senior / FIFA official as chairman. In 2014 the incumbent of 12 years stepped down and the membership elected a junior referee (by referee level not age!). This was a surprise. The person elected is a popular figure in grassroots football although I...

Why I Can't Be Bothered with NEURA (North East Ulster RA)

"Dear NEURA Member, At a committee meeting held on Sunday 27 September 2015 two proposals were brought, seconded and therefore passed to be brought before the membership. The first proposal was one of no confidence in Chairman, George Warnock. This was carried by seven votes to three. The...
