Check your league rules. I know junior leagues here do have a rule up to U8s (off the top of my head), that allows the opposing team to play an extra player if they are losing by more than 8 goals (again the exact number is off the top of my head).

Red The focus here should be on protecting the player he has directed it at as well as the other players. If you let it go this week and then next week's ref does the same etc then the player never learns and will keep doing it.

Only had two similar to the above that spring to mind. Throw in and indirect free kick from own penalty area. Both go in after the keepers get a touch but fail to keep it out. Both seemed to go in slow motion and I wasn't going to voice the possible outcomes whilst thinking them in my head.

I lost all 3 of my pens in a game before. Not fun.

Always have done it and never assumed anyone else didn't. Covers your backside if the worst should happen and gets your voice out there. I don't know why anyone would question this though.
