No but you're kind of proving my point - we simply don't know if the attacker is imbalanced by something so how can you adamantly stick to this? If someone's shirt gets a yank, it's a FK and that's all there is to it. I'm not going to get my crystal ball out and know if the player had to correct...
This seems too big and too common a situation to not have clear directives for us referees and is rather unsettling....
I suppose seeking clarification from the FA would be best? There are so many variations that would fall under the same umbrella that probably happen once a week and it's...
Mentally.
If it doesn't say momentum or unbalanced in the LotG, how can you stick to that so adamantly? Even in advice to referees I can't this directive. What if the attacker feels the pull then throws them self on the ground? How can you mind read to tell if it's a dive or a foul for...
Page 192 makes no reference to balance or momentum. Is it up to us to determine if the attacker was put off in some way or how hard they had to correct before they became unbalanced?
A shirt pull strong enough so slow down a sprinting attacker is some shirt pull! It doesn't have this requirement in law though I'm not going to give every little grab, I'm certainly not waiting for it to off balance an opponent as that is a vast scale you're tying yourself to.
Find that quite strange! Communication is a huge part and if we can't agree if it's an IDFK here, how is the keeper meant to know which one of us will turn up and give what decision? It just sets everyone's expectation and makes it easier because you've already made your decision so it won't...
Jesus DB, hope it's nothing like that - are you all good now?
Hmm, I used to have this a few years ago but I put it down to the wrong footwear (running in astro's) and a posture problem (broken leg left me with a outside step on my foot) but it went. I recently went over on my ankle trying to...
I'm wondering if anyone else gets this..
Whenever I run, after the first say 10 minutes, I start to feel a dull ache at the base of my spine. This then develops and becomes rather strong to the point I have to stop running. If I can find a right sized wall, I stand against it and lean backwards...
Big no, never do it because it's your integrity you're rescinding as well!
On your report you can say that you feel on reflection it may not have warranted the RC. I'm sure I've heard that some people have mentioned to the CFA that you recommend the RC not stand.
was it just me or did Moss not look interested?
- Gomez foul/back pass be didn't make an attempt to get close as it carried on.
-Costa second yellow for diving all day long
-clearly injured player needing assistance allowed play to continue near him and then actually on to him for a good few...
It's the first reply for me; two sets. Chest has both for second yellow offences, shorts right has yellow with tape on to write on it the name/number/offence and red in the back. Notebook comes out for goals, subs and RCs; no cards in the notebook, strong enough and the players don't see a card...
I'm an ex-keeper n'all but through injury! almost 6 years ago someone kindly snapped my leg whilst playing :(
There's a test after 5 games now? I only completed 6 OA games and that was it - has it changed or is it county specific?
New to this forum!
I'm level 5 registered to Liverpool but moved around the last 12 months. Settled in Ye Ol' West Riding of Yorkshire (now Oldham...) but not registered with Manchester FA yet - is anyone familiar with East Greater Manchester area? Advice and contacts would be welcome!
Thanks...
