This is obviously more serious than most, but when a referee is assaulted I believe the police should get involved. Without criminal, external action, players will go on thinking it is acceptable as it is 'all part of the game'.
If you were to allow play to continue and something were to happen to him, think of the grief you'd get for allowing play to continue even though it's the manager's fault. I would strongly recommend a substitution, and if that does not happen I would abandon the match for a serious injury.

He (and his assistants) have had a great game up to Neur's collision. There is absolutely no way that Neur was fouled, and I think it should have been a penalty - if a player collides with somebody like that while making a header then it's a foul and a yellow or red card, so why should it be any...

yes, I saw that, thought it was peculiar. It also annoys me that foreign officials go against what we're told to do in this country and have there flags rolled up when they come out!
It would affect your match control because all the players as well as the fans know that you have made a big mistake and consequently you will lose credibility
