    Rangers Vs Kilmarnock

It's always bash referee day in Scotland, seems to be the only topic of conversation when it comes to Scottish football

    Rangers Vs Kilmarnock

The keeper incident was VC, he stands in front of the player then throws his elbow back into his face?, Don't see how that's cheating?

    A 3 reds hat trick

I think the compliance officer in Scotland is a joke if I'm honest, always seems to be trial by media rather than looking at anything on a game to game basis, ie retrospective action taken against 2 other players, one being another rangers player and the other an increased punishment for a hibs...

    Bic, biro, parker, ballpoint

The referee had awarded a FK for the original foul, it was the Assistant that advised the PK

    Bic, biro, parker, ballpoint

I agree it was clear enough for the referee to call for the FK in the first place so he should have stuck with the original decision

    Bic, biro, parker, ballpoint

The Referee called for the FK only for the assistant to call it was a penalty

    Ridiculous comments ...

I think the frustration from the staff was that it wasn't the full pitch that was frozen it was a small part at the corner flag that was still to defrost, I don't think the coaches and fans react to safety the way we do as referees, the away fans had a long journey hence the frustration from...

    Targeted harassment of match officials

I believe those top officials who's details are removed are ones who have received abuse before, likes of Willie Collum, Andrew Dallas and Kevin Clancy, I was still getting paper handbooks till last season along with the online database

    Targeted harassment of match officials

I agree searching isn't a crime however a level 4/5/6/7 needing to look up any match official beyond a level 3 is suspicious, the only contact we have or need with these officials is at weekly training, we don't get put on the line for them or 4th official, I think any searches made after the...

    Targeted harassment of match officials

The only VAR I've known to be shared was last year's FA cup game between Chelsea and Man U, the conversation between Michael Oliver, his assistants and VAR. I think more like that would be healthy to share, obviously not so much that it fears referees into thinking they will be blasted on match...

    Targeted harassment of match officials

I think the media are somewhat to blame for the abuse towards Beaton, considering the SFA claimed they would not review match incidents that the referee had seen, the Scottish Media have come out and said that Beaton should now have to explain his decisions, certain BT pundits have claimed there...

    Targeted harassment of match officials

Well the last referee that had their information leaked was Willie Collum and he was sent death threats and so was his family, bricks thrown through his home windows and he was under police protection, John Beaton's information was leaked yesterday and he is under police protection now I...

    Targeted harassment of match officials

I'm sure some of you are aware of the old firm that took place last weekend, the fallout of the match has had a lot of controversy regarding players and the match official John Beaton In Scotland we have a registry of all match officials contact details, local RA and home address, as far as...

Where does handball start for you?

Let me be clear, i am not set in my ways and i am most certainly open to change, i simply do not have the amount of experience as some people on here, explaining my opinions is not being insistent, and i do believe when a question is asked i am entitled to my opinion even if you do not, i...

Where does handball start for you?

In what way am i making excuses?, i've stated my opinion when it was asked to everyone, right or wrong i'm entitled to it, if you don't agree that is fine you are more than welcome to challenge me through a conversation, however i think your being rather confrontational, especially since you...

    Man U v Arsenal

i don't think the ball being near should have an impact, pulling someones hair doesn't involve the ball, it's an act of violence and should be treated as such no matter if the ball is in playing distance or not, however that is just my take

    Rangers V Aberdeen. sending off.

Well the SFA paint rangers in a different light to every other team in the SPFL, regarding disciplinary actions at least

Where does handball start for you?

I'm not calling players stupid by any means, we only meet these people for 90 minutes or so, I wouldn't judge a players intelligence on those 90 minutes, what I'm pointing out is their understanding of the LOTG, if you've had good players who accept number 2 as handball then that's good, however...

Where does handball start for you?

I did, that's because we're not premier League referees, if you were to make a call at grass roots where the ball hits 1/2 then it's a bigger headache than its worth because as I said nobody understands the laws as we do, I think that's a fair compromise considering 3 is well above the elbow anyway
