    When to end play

They always moan when the whistle goes and they are on the attack but would be the first to complain if they were defending and and goal was scored against them and then you blew the whistle to end the game.

    Hi everyone!

If its any help, my prep included reading over the LOTG a few times, reading over assorted threads on this forum (esp Match Incidents)' and doing the questions on areferee.com (not all answers are correct so use this in conjunction with LOTG).

    My game today

Sounds like you played two 35 min halves, just there were a lot of stoppages in the first one.;)

    Hello!

    Looking forward to your input.

    This weekend, what you got?

Mine called off today as the council have shut down all council pitches. Looks like only 6 games in 6 Divisions going ahead:poop:

    LOTG quizzes

I used this site as prep for my course an found it really helpful. I accept that some answers needed further LOTG investigation but, as there are so few LOTG quiz sites around it was a real help. I still use it between seasons.

And there was a second half...?

Good luck mate. If its any help the long term prognosis with early intervention is very good. Keep my fingers crossed for you.

    Sin Bin

At our level, with a team 4-0 up, it might be worth gobbing off at the ref or putty in a couple of moody tackles just to get a ten minute breather. For dissent, I would prefer to see a move similar to rugby whereby a dissenting player gets a DFK against his team, the ball is moved ten yards...

    FA - YRDP

Still waiting for mine. Been a while though.

    Deliberate pass back to keeper.

Not DOGSO IMO. A pass back is not an opportunity for the opposition to score, but an opportunity for an own goal to be conceded. I know its playing semantics but I could not see myself giving an IDFK and sending the GK off for stopping the ball from going in the net. If we did that because...

    Hello all

Hello mate. Getting stuck in is the best way.

    How are the pitches looking?

I have to admit that (not that its affected me) I don't really see the difference between a frost covered pitch and one at the start of the season (after a dry summer). Both will scrape your legs.

    How are the pitches looking?

Got my rearranged game. Pitch was a bit muddy but not boggy and very playable. Loads of matches postponed locally though.

    How are the pitches looking?

My game tomorrow postponed did to a bereavement! No news yet from refsec regarding remaining games without an official

    Already know the players

As Matty said, speak to them and treat them as impartially as you can. Over time you will come to know other players on other teams (to talk to at least) and you wouldn't think twice about how you deal with them. I have reffed my son's side a couple of times but I bet the opposition couldn't...

What do I need to start?

Yes mate. You missed out on forking out about a hundred notes to do the course.

    2014 FIFA World Cup

Damn. Missed the list again. Oh well FA Cup 2015 list is still to be published.:)

    FAMOA number

I got my FAMOA number through when I passed my six games. I never realised that the NPD was the FAN. Before I got my numbers I just left them blank. No one ever complained.

Free Kicks about 9.15 metres (10 yards in old money) outside the penalty area

Blimey, I'm 5'10" and I take twelve steps. That said, I think I can sell twelve steps better than eleven.
