    Penalty claim: Newcastle v Southampton

Tough one as from when I watched it, it looked like he was bringing the arms into the body, rather than putting them out to intentionally block the ball. I think the ref got it right although I only say the having seen the replays and in real time I can imagine it being given.

    'Offside' in Sunderland game

By nearly two meters, the Tottenham forums I'm a member of are going mental, it's a good job it wasn't a goal to decide the winner. Not sure who the AR is but that's as basic an error as you get.

    'Offside' in Sunderland game

I'm at a loss to understand how a select group official can mess up on something like that.

    FIFA Referees Fitness Test

Pretty sure I can smash the sprints no problem but I reckon the running test is quite cheeky, I'd like to give it a bash though but I'm sure I'd be blowing out after about lap 7-8. Thanks for sticking that on.

    Tawdry adverts.....

I can see the one Padfoot is referring to and I'm logged in.

Caffeine, something to be aware of

I regularly have a red bull prior to a game but tend to go for sugar free variants in some rubbish attempt to limit the badness knowing it's full of other rubbish. A guy I worked with whilst I was based in Bristol used to work as a DJ in the nights and his desk was full of them, used to see at...

"I've never seen a ref do that before"

I've had that comment about gauge, once from an assistant as well lol.

    Welsh Reffing System

I moved over as a 6 and became a 3b so as SM says, as a five you would become a 3a.

RED CARD | Wigan's Callum McManaman dismissed for this challenge on Claude Dielna

On the match highlights that you can see after this clip, Wigan have a goal ruled out but it looks like the AR is signalling for a sub? What's that about?

    West Ham vs arsenal

So was wasn't Sterling sent off against Swansea.

Anyone care to guess why he wasn't just sent off despite reaching over Mike Mullarkey's shoulder to slap the Swansea lad.

    West Ham vs arsenal

So seeing as my original post has been deleted, I'll ask the question again. If Carroll isn't there is it still ruled out seeing as the keeper therefore has an unhindered view of the attacker kicking the ball?

    West Ham vs arsenal

The problem was that the two that the ball went through weren't offside iirc on MOTD last night so if given for them it's incorrect. Carroll who was stood in front of the keeper was, but I think it should have been given anyway as I hate Arsenal lol.

    Arsenal vs QPR

Look we could go around and around, I've explained my reasons for not believing it's a red and you still think it is and are just trying to pick holes like you always do, same as a notable other on this forum.

    Arsenal vs QPR

I never mentioned Girouds red, violent conduct doesn't depend on contact alone. The manner in which it is done as I said, this is just him grabbing him from behind so a yellow for adopting an aggressive attitude. He's neither used excessive force or brutality for me. The Giroud one was obvious...

    Warming creams

Never make the mistake I did once of applying your deep heat then having a wee.

    Arsenal vs QPR

Doh, I must have missed that. Even looking at that I don't see it as violent conduct, it's different to grabbing someone round the throat in a choking manner. He grabs him and just shouts something to him.

    Arsenal vs QPR

From what I remember it was lower part of the neck/shoulder, hardly violent conduct. I think the fact that nobody even mentioned shows it was really nothing as Sky's pundits love to highlight these things that refs miss.

    Neil Warnock

he has had some success but that was a while iirc, he's been a binge manager for a while now, just taking any job that comes up as for some reason clubs still employ him. No doubt he'll be on talk sport imparting his wisdom soon enough.

    Biggest clanger you've dropped?

See I thought that and got picked up for it, damn assessors lol.
