    Nani Red Card

It’s the commentators reaction that annoyed me. How can people that don’t know what they’re talking about be allowed to sit in front of a microphone broadcasting to millions and question a referees integrity. Shocking

I’ve been looking to get one. Not sure where though

    Nani Red Card

I 100% agree with you on this. The LoTG clearly state the following: "A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play". Granted it might not be excessive, that's up for debate, but it is certainly dangerous

    Nani Red Card

I never posted my opinion straight away, but I personally think it’s a red card for SFP. Catches his ankle, leg straight, you could say excessive force but it clearly endangers the safety. Shocked it was appealed

Hi. Would like to hear everyone’s opinion on this. Nani sent off for SFP in MLS Match. Thoughts?

    Bayer Leverkusen Red Card

Europa league doesn’t use VAR. I definitely think he has had a word in his ear to change from yellow to red. I noticed originally he reached for his short pocket (presuming the yellow was in there) to give a caution, but then takes a few seconds and issued a red.

    Junior/Youth First Coach Dismissal

@Degnann A little late on this thread, however in most Scottish youth leagues governed under the SYFA the named first-aider has to remain at the side of the park at all times. If you decide to dismiss him he must be seperated from the rest of the touchline and only called upon when required...

    Whistles

I’ll definitely pick up a Blast whistle. I’ll probably get a Valkeen when I hopefully progress further up and there is more use for it

    Whistles

I posted a thread about the Valkeen whistle a while few days ago and it made me wonder what whistles are commonly used or any people enjoy using. Personally I have only ever used the Fox 40 Classic and was wondering if any people prefer other brands such as molten or Acme?

    Molten Valkeen

That’s exactly what I do right now. I was just considering buying the Valkeen for the name it has and the better sounding tone to hopefully make me a better referee. I was always told to have two whistles at all times aswell

Where did you get yours. Think I’m going to aswell. Let me know how you get on

    AR - Getting ref's attention

Personally I would put the flag straight up in the air and keep it there until the referee notices. Presumably he would then come over and talk about it.

    Molten Valkeen

Is the one from Newitts specifically for football? I presume it is although I had read someone say certain ones weren't due to a manufacturer code or something.

Hi I’m new to the site. I have been refereeing for a few years now and was looking to purchase a Vakeen whistle but they are impossible to find any. Can anyone help out with finding a genuine supplier
