TBF to you, it's the defending team's responsibility to ask for a wall 🧱 I never ask them....
I do hold whistle up to indicate to wait and to ensure keeper is set - by then he/she will be calling for a wall if they want one.

Listen to Dermot Gallagher arguing as to why VAR didn't get involved in a penalty decision....
I'm gobsmacked.
I'd bin it. It's slow, tedious and takes the passion and instantaneous excitement out of the game.
Get semi-automated offsides, keep GLT and id be happy 😁
I always say the bit about overruling them and not to get upset.
Overruled CAR today, he was convinced an offside #11 had scored after a pass from onside #9 - I saw #9 score and allowed the goal.
Striker in box, takes a hit from defender then another from GK but instead of falling over (like I thought) he scores. Just after I'd blown for the pen... Team are 6.0 down in a U13 game..
I give the goal. Everyone is happy bar one shouty man. Os this a major mistake I've made it totally...
I was there, he did ok but splashed a few unnecessary early yellows which kind of stopped him giving more deserving yellows later....
I'd rate him at 7/10
