Absolutely fine. However - I had no way of knowing if his angle was blocked or if he had made the decision to not give the penalty until he came over and told me. At that point I’m telling him it’s a stonewall penalty as it was so obvious.

Simon Hooper is quite far away from the challenge. Impossible to see properly from there. Not saying he should have been closer as he obviously was expecting the play to move forward so was preparing for that. The assistant was probably closer to it than him!

Controversial opinion: I understand the law is potentially unclear. What I can’t understand is how this is being made so complicated. Count down 8 seconds from when you think the keeper has control of the ball shout out from 5 and put your hand in the air. Give a corner if you get to zero.
