Not a 100% correct as Academy boys go unsigned at that age and do know how to do tactical fouls 100% parents attitude is disgusting and wrong but it’s not true players that age don’t know because if anyone in the game is at academy they will and to not be aware of that would be wrong.
Not going to address most of it as everyone has there own opinion from experience I will say however a fair few clubs will actually pay / reimburse fines for DOGSO even at OA so the fine thing shouldn’t really be a problem.
I can back up what others have said you shouldn’t be appointed to U18 at 15 I’m 24 and have had teams ask to see ID once to cover there back for a OA game.
I was at the game my friends a QPR fan and it’s near my parents honestly think the ref missed a fair bit on both sides but he’s human anyone attacking anyone on Social Media should be reprimanded just my thoughts.
Has anyone on here referred them I only ask because you always see subs and fans run on the field but it never seems a big deal and wondered if they do get warned or reported but it’s edited out.
Haven’t had CAR able to do anything other than in outs in my CFA we only allow this however I should have a OA game in the next County who allow CAR offside calls next week so how do I deal with CAR being shown dissent by a player is it just same sanction as with me.
A Word of advice from someone who’s had recent experience as a new ref if you are going to do OA early on you may need thick skin I’m a bit older but still found it tough going may be my area though.
I wear my glasses while reffing as sadly I have a dexterity issue meaning contacts are out I also run competitively in glasses to a high standard so am used to the feeling looks no less professional to me.
