Mate, you've picked the wrong part of football to be involved in. You should have gone down the administrator route and tried to get on a league or competition committee so you can write the rules instead of being a referee who is tasked with implementing them.

The only level at which it doesn't matter is no level at all. This exact attitude is why referees who are interested in doing their job properly get a hard time week in and week out. If not for your own pride, at least do it for your colleagues' sanity.

To me, this (with my bolded addition) would have been the correct outcome given that Oliver didn't catch the simulation in real time. I would, of course, have preferred him to catch and call the simulation in real time and then the Romero situation would not have occurred. The Ugodie decision...

Well now Romero's gone. Of course, I would say play should have been stopped prior to that incident to caution Sterling for simulation but hey ho.

I think, if you read what he said again, you'll find that he said if the referee came to harm, the police would probably look at him as a suspect because there's a motive. That's not a threat, necessarily, but it is a ridiculous thing to say.

There's no reason to fly them around. Move them to England if they're going to be Premier League referees. Let the PGMOL sign referees from all over and bring them to England. Let English referees sign professional contracts with other competitions as well.
