It can also depend on the league as it whether the different sock colour is allowed. Since in a local league near me (UK) they specify that referees have to wear black socks and shorts.

Also depending on the age that you issue the decision it might be wise to get safeguarding involved like in U18 match a 17Yr is touched by an 18Yr, or in Open age when an over 18 does it to under 18.
