This is a interesting thread but I Was wondering what to do if for some strange reason a Team refused to do a silence for a league sanctioned thing what would you do as a referee at the time. Obviously a report would be made due to it being league sanctioned but if one team was complying and the...
I know how you feel Paul. I'm 15 and only completed my course recently. I had done my training games and was purely doing games before the exam for experience. It back Fired after a U11 game that went to penalties and turned into a horrible mess between a club appointed Lino and coaches and fans...
I'm not denying you have more experience than me, but I felt this game could have been very different if Taylor hadn't made the key decisions correctly meaning integrity would have been lost.
Having just passed exam but doing two finals in the same week. And I was in the middle with my dad getting roped in as neutral Lino even though not qualified.
I'm with Northants and I've only been reffing for four months and I have my first cup final as assistant referee tomorrow. U14 Cup with MKDDL. Looking forward to it!
So I've been refereeing for less than 6 months and only passed my exam last wednesday. I'm 16 and have done 10 games but have just been appointed to my first cup final, an U14 final as Assisstant Referee. I'm looking forward to it, but does anyone have any tips. I had been a Club appointed...

Don't worry we no doubt will be. You deserve to go up so I'm not gonna deny it. Besides you might bring some bloody atmosphere to our stadium on saturday......
My team (Mk Dons) has had Mr Deadman twice, one of which I watched and although we lost 3-1 he wasn't at any fault my team where just s***. He's reffed 46 games this season with a few more games to come which is one of the highest game amounts in the whole football league so he can't be that bad!
