Minimum observations and games for promotion and de-motion

I wish I was as good as a “well past their best” pgmol offical. I’ll keep trying. I think the promotion and demotion from 4-3-4-5-4 etc makes sense. If you make it to 3 but start struggling for whatever reason you’ll be out of your league with the standard expected and you aren’t doing the...

Leeds vs Frank Lampard’s Derby County

Yes his position could of sold it if he did it properly. Have to disagree on the attempted header. I’m flagging for that all day.

Leeds vs Frank Lampard’s Derby County

I THINK there was a player in an offside position who came back onside and interfered in the lead up...i’m wondering if the flag was up then and the ref missed it. Barring that it is a hugely hugely embarrassing offside call as it isn’t even close. EDIT - it’s 1:17 through 1:20 on the match...

    Changes...

Exactly - it’s a toss up to determine the worst idea...orange cards or smash keeps while they are stretched out vulnerable in the air. ****s.

    Changes...

Some very very dumb ideas here. And a few we have all mentioned on this site. https://1.ftb.al/uYrhMVQvmT

    Man City v Burton

you think the English game is uncompetitive? 6 teams (plus a miracle 7th) that could win the league and or have a genuine shot at the champions league every year. Have you looked at France/Germany/Spain/Netherlands/Portugal etc - and those are just the countries where TWO teams have a genuine...

    Have a look at this.

Not even sure she is offside. Bit boring this one ;-)

    It's Game day

    Head injuries

I think you are probably right technically - BUT - with the responsibility for player safety in mind... if (theoretically) a player is stumbling around the pitch after a head collision, and it was so obvious to me he was unwell, and if the team refused to treat him or sub him I would stop the...

Didn’t take it that way - was just clarifying.

    Head injuries

On a frustrating flip side to these stories I had what can only be described as a time wasting head injury last week. Normal jump midfield and not much in it but yellow player went down screaming, grabbing his head. I blew up, called on the trainer etc. The red team is going crazy that he’s...

    Transgender Referee..

Her. I was on the line for Lucy this year. She is a good referee and the players and management knew her from before and were nothing but respectful. A few spectators behind me knew the situation and had minor pops but all in all I think she would say she has been well supported by the league...

    4th Observation 7 to 6

I assume you are also on the AR list for CCFL div 1 and prem? If so I hope to see you around

    4th Observation 7 to 6

ya I'm just playing detective based on the fact it seems unlikely to be Bostick and the fact we have a U23 league around here that gives 7s (particularly those going for promotion) a go in the middle with experienced 5s on the line.

    4th Observation 7 to 6

Given location my guess is that this is the Combined Counties U23 (not Bostick)...it’s a development league and the ref sec gives up and coming refs or new refs to the CCFL middles to give experience. Great idea and well run league all around.

    Controversial goal - injured keeper

Well I can see what you’re seeing. The more I watch it the more annoyed I am with the referee. I showed this clip to my wife, Daughter (12) and son (10) all big football fans. Without any promoting their first reaction was “why did the player not kick it out”

    Lorus

Come on - let us have our toys. I have a spintso because I think it’s cool and pretty useful - I know a Casio would do the job but where’s the fun in that. My bike is also better than I am as a rider - so what. :-)

    Penalty and red card?

You seem to be right - kind of redundant anyway and I guess it was removed so we don’t have to guess between a genuine attempt and an attempt :-)

    Penalty and red card?

Sounds like a good decision as long as your thinking was 1) dogso (pen and a card) 2) what colour depends on whether you think there was a genuine attempt for the ball - unlikely from behind. The managers appeal will fail (although 50% likely they’ll even bother) and he’ll learn something...
