    Fitness test

Also passed on Sunday. We actually started off running the L3 test for 1.5 laps.. before having to restart with the correct test playing. The test is a breeze really, especially running in groups. If you had to run it solo I'd find it harder.

New kit free... For L3 & L4 and above refs...

Admittedly haven't read the thread... So apologies if answered. Can I wear my 1 year old shirts in step 3/4/5 matches next year, without replacing the badge on it?

    End of season review

How have you averaged less than 0.5 yellows a game?? 🤯

Ah yes... the fella who had a fight with a spectator amongst other things? Did I miss them getting banned? What was the outcome just a WUM?

    UECL Final

Also was expecting a yellow for Benrahama for the celebration. Complete stupidity from him as he was already on a YC, but got away with it

    UECL Final

Agreed. Couldn't understand why the commentators didn't pick up the fact the game kicked off over a minute into added time as it was.

    End of season review

22/23 Middles: 18 Lines: 18 Cautions: 58 (+3 manager) Sin Bins: 6 Reds: 8 (+1 manager) Penalties: 14 Card free games: No card free games this year. Averaged 3.22 yellows a game, and only 0.33 sin bins. I'm very happy to use a sin bin so happy to take this as a positive that I have managed...

Unfortunately same experience for me for one of the 4-3s. Really poor, lacked fitness and just overall **** attitude. Runs in the right circles though. There is one on there who I did rate, and was a throughly good guy and ref to boot.

Depends what has been said, nothing wrong with taking a quick one. For match control in my game, I am not even letting it get close. Il be telling them on my whistle as soon as I am there.

    Sin Bins

This is what I did. Scenario is a penalty. Player gets sin binned for complaints following it. I signalled correctly . They left FOP next to goal, and walked round the side of the pitch to the technical area where they remained. They didn’t leave this way for any reason other than I think they...

    Sin Bins

When you sin bin a player, they have to go to the technical area, or area marked for sin bin purposes. Is there a law that states they have to leave the FOP in a certain way? IE can they walk round the side of the pitch to allow the game to continue? Or do they have to leave the FOP right at the...

    MUN vs FUL

Thank you for dealing with it, Chris. Wish there had been more yellows for all the players who then surrounded following it. Hope the FA follow through with a sufficient ban, and charges for failure to control.

Does a linesman need to have necessary training?

I have been the referee when only 1 assistant turned up at step 6. I kept my qualified assistant bench side for both halves, and each club provided a volunteer to run the line for their team each half. The instructions were clear, no fouls. Only ball in/out of play, and offsides. I made sure...
